Garland Foundation Repair Co. is a referral service. When you call or send a request through this site, we pass it to a local pro who serves your area. That pro does the inspection and any repair work, not us.

We have no crews, trucks or repair equipment. Home inspections and engineering opinions come from the professional, never from us. This page explains how the referral works and how we get paid. That way, you can decide how much weight to give what you read here.

You pay us nothing. The free inspection offered on this site is free to you, and asking for one doesn't commit you to any repair.

We may receive payment from the foundation repair professional we connect you with. It can be a flat fee for each request we pass on. Or it can be a fee to receive requests from this site over a set period. Like any advertising, that fee is part of what the business spends to find customers. We never bill you for it.

The professional you speak with is an independent business. They're not our employee, and we don't control their prices, schedule or methods. Any repair agreement is between you and them.

We don't rate or rank contractors, and we don't publish reviews. Nothing on this site should be read as a promise about the quality of any one company's work. Before you sign anything, ask the professional for proof of insurance and a written scope of work. It's also worth asking whether an engineer will review the repair plan. Several cities we serve need an engineer's letter or seal before they'll issue a foundation repair permit.

You're free to get other bids. A second or third opinion on a foundation repair is common and sensible, and we'll never discourage it.

The articles and city pages on this site are written to be useful whether or not you ever call.

Soil figures come from the USDA soil survey. Housing age figures come from US Census data. Permit rules come from each city's own documents. Cost ranges come from published industry sources. Each source is noted where the figure appears.

No contractor pays to change what these pages say. Payment for referrals doesn't buy a better soil reading, a lower cost range or a softer permit rule.

A professional may not be available in every part of the area we list. If that happens, we'll tell you, rather than pass your request somewhere it won't be answered.
